The Activities Director uses volunteers to engage and involve participants in enjoyable and social activities. The job provides some type of camaraderie for the nursery members. You can work in a group setting or one-on-one with an individual. A program assistant may also do the following tasks:
Volunteers assist individuals who have particular requirements and who need one-on-one care due to impairment.
A participant is taken outside by volunteers for a park stroll, to chat, or to read a book. It’s a period when the participant is given extra consideration.
Do you enjoy leading sing-alongs or playing an instrument? Do you enjoy humor, travel, the arts, drama, games, or history? Do you have a cute pet to share? its program’s vibrancy depends on its volunteers, performers, and teachers. Please get in touch with us if you want to share your talent!
